e92 335i maintenance?

Howsit guys,

looking to buy a 335i as a daily driver, only do about 400km a month. I saw one here for sale and quite interested but alil worried about maintaining it, so any advice? any common issues ? any good warranties to think about ?

N54 or N55?

It's an 08 E92 335i , not sure if it's n55 or n54 but since I am looking at 335's advice on both would be great

Great cars. As a daily if sitting in heavy traffic, fuel consumption is not very good.

An 08 model would be an N54. Mine does around 500kms a month and the maintenance costs works out to be around R1 per km. Bear in mind my car is stock and all maintenance work was carried out by in independent workshop. If you are technically inclined and don't mind D.I.Y the costs would be substantially cheaper.

Ideally cash in the bank would be your best warranty.
