E92 335i DCT JB4 0-100km/h?

Hi Guys,

Im just curious, what would the average N54 335i DCT do in terms of 0 - 100km/h with JB4 Map 5 installed?

just trying to get a feeler for where my car is more or less sitting.

I know there is no way to accurately guage because there are so many variables.

was just thinking of a ballpark figure.

if bmw says my car does 5.2 with DCT and PPK, would an extra 60Hp allow it to dip under 5s?

I dunno hey, way too many variables. Mine on map 5 with abit of OB causes way to many traction issues so it either bogs down with TC on or the rears light up when its off. Can never get a clean launch!

I gave up trying. Does it really matter though? Enjoy the in gear accelaration. That's the best part for me. After months into my JB love affair i still giggle when she pulls from mid second gear!! :inlove:

Any software upgrade is going to give you best increases in in-gear acceleration runs. 0-100 is all about traction. It's a useless test as no one races to 100 and stops. A stock car may well have a better 0-100 than a chipped car if its a traction impaired car with high torque and no LSD.

yeah i must admit you guys are right, the biggest difference i feel is from 3rd gear onwards so i guess that wouldnt really improve the initial acceleration too much without a LSD or better traction
