E91 320i wont start

Hi,

for some reason my car wont start. is a 2005 320i touring. it just has this wining or hissing noise but doesn't start. no warning lights. everything seems fine but doesn't start. could it be the starter?

Seems like the starter from what’ve experienced, keep turning the key to see if it will crank.

Thanks Nobz330i... My thoughts too... but it turns out it much bigger than that. We removed the head and the timing chain is stretched. Possible cause???

So the suggestion is to:
Replace timing chain and tensioner
Replace vanos units
Replace vanos solenoids
Oil Service
Not sure if we should look at replacing the vvt motor as well

There goes the xmas gifts.... LOL
