A little bit clunk noise at front. Not the suspension, not the front control arm.

Front I will take a look first.

Yes, a set of bushes.

Why do you want to upgrade?
Car runs around 135k km now. Maybe it's a good time to refresh.

what model E90 is this for?
E90 325i N52B25 Pre LCI.

what do you want to upgrade it to? Poly? Rubber?
Preferable M3 bushes. Heard Poly might make noise when getting dry and a little bit hard.

Thanks bro for the clarification.

> This is strange because these bushes last longer than most bushes. its a mission if you need to change this as you may need to remove the subframe to press out the old ones and press in new ones. (unless there is space there to use a bush removal tool)

> if you do end up changing out bushes, maybe consider doing all the bushes in your path... that way you dont have to go back later for one worn out bush.

> Not sure but dont think M3 Bushes will fit your model unless they use the same subframe. Poly is hard and can cause vibrations. Maybe replace with a rubber Meyle HD or Lemforder equivalent.

front subframe is bolted directly to the chassis so no bushings

Ah so that throws a spanner in the works... You going to have to recheck all the suspension bushes again... also check top shock mounts.
