E90 Seats

Silly question, but have to ask, didn't get the manual with the car. Does the back seats for the car drop down to gain access from the boot to the interior. If, so is the catch for it. 2006, 320D

The feature you looking for is called a Through-loading system, its a option for the entire 3 series range.

If your car has this, then you need to look in the boot under the parcel shelf. If you find two levers on either side of the shelf (one for the right seat and another for the left) with a seat symbol on it, then Bob's your uncle Pulling on it should unlock the seats.

Comes in handy, no lies. Thank you for the response. There are two levers there, but doesn't really activate anything, so DAMN. At least will know what to look for the next time I purchase the next model. Shot

pull on the two levers and you will hear the click sound, release of the seat then go and tug the seats forward. it is a bit tight though if they havent been opened before
