E90 Run flat warning light comes on illuminated in red

Hello to one and all.

So this morning driving to work, get a warning light illuminated in red. So I check it up in the manual book and says 1) flat tyre monitor not initialised and 2) Tyre is deflated.

I know it may sound as a stupid question, but could it be a puncture on the tire? or tire needs more air?

Your feedback will be highly appreciated.

Thanks

First up, make sure you havent got a flat wheel. If you do, get it repaired/replaced.
Should the wheel not be flat, check tire pressures. Once all pressures are correct, recallibrate the RFT via the stalk and options menu.

When the monitor goes red it usually indicates a flat. Check the pressures and sort out the tyre thats losing air.

Then reset the monitors

i once had same problem, turned out to be a faulty valve and had it sorted. But then you have to recalibrate the tyre monitoring system which took my a while to figure out
