Did you fit the tweeters to the basic radio system?

We get 3 models (correct me if I am wrong) the basic, hifi and then the logic or kardon systems. If you only fitted the tweeters and want beter sound then you will need to encode the radio from the basic to the hifi version (if that can be done) and I am sure that that hifi system has a amplifier also which the basic system don't have.

Long story short, adding the tweeters is good (something I also consider)
If you have, the basic model radio then you wouldn't have an amp in the boot and by coding it to a hifi unit (by adding the VO code to your vin) will flat out the EQ on your radio and then you will need a amplifier to correct that which is with the professional hifi sound system.

But I do hope someone can help you there, we have GERT here in Gauteng  for it

The issue is that just adding tweeters will make them screech your head off, because - as Lizzard said - the stock radio has EQ set up pretty high on the top octaves. It can be coded to be 'flatter' but at the same time it drops the whole output level as well because it expects an amplifier in the system. In your case this is not an option.

Not knowing what tweeters you installed it's impossible to give you accurate guidelines to go forward. How did you wire the tweeters up? At the very least you would need a 4.7uF bi-polar cap in series with the tweeter in order to cut the lower frequencies going to your tweeter. In order to tame the level, you can start by adding a resistor in series as well - try 2.2 ohm, 3.3 ohm, 4.7ohm in sequence till you get the attenuation you need.

As far as integration is concerned it'll be pretty difficult but this should set you on the right path so long.
