E90 Pre-Lci Rear Indicator problem??

Hi all!
i have searched the internet and this forum and cant seem to find anything that helps!

Basically my left rear tyre delaminated on the race track while doing a track day and that cause my left light cluster to stop working, obviously from the tyre that ripped the bumper clips out, so on my way home, when i first tried to use my left indicator, it showed the faulty light symbol on the dash and the flicker flashed really quickly.

I checked and made sure it was just the bulbs and replaced all of them in the cluster, they all work fine but as soon as i put the left indicator on it shows the warning light again and it flashes really quickly again, even though the indicator light is flashing and working??

Does anybody maybe have an idea how to fix this (without going to a stealership) the lights all work so im not really that bothered by it but the quick flashing gets kinda annoying!!
Thanks in advance!

I had a similar problem on another E46, all the indicators was working except the dash warning light came on and the indicator went into overdrive:skit:

I found that the earth wire in that cluster was making a bad earth connection to the body and just put a rewire onto the earth wire from the light to the body. Maybe google bad earth and you will see how it is done.

But I do believe if everything is working then it must be the earth on that specific light cluster :tiptoe:

See if that helps:rollsmile:
