E90 Navigation

Hey people,

I recently contacted BMW to upgrade the navigation DVD for my E90 - the fools wanted R2800 with my current one as a deposit. I tried convincing the guy that I didn't want to replace the entire nav system!!!!!

I don't understand how a R25,000 nav system doesn't come with free upgrades but a R2000 garmin does.

Can anyone help me get the most recent version cheaper?? Or a copy of it??

lol dude! That's crazy! Good luck with the nav system i'll be relying on my Garmin for now

It confuses me at how they can charge so much for that :thinking: although having said that all the manufacturer do it, they saw what BMW charge and now they all making money out of it.
Yip - if it dont come standard in the car I dont pay stupid money for it, besides my Tom Tom can travel world wide with me. :mmm:

Garmin only gets 1 free update, if it has not changed as yet.
