Hi guys... I'm driving an e90 335i N54 2010 generation.

I have intermittent start failures which lead me to believe the battery was out since the car is over 5yrs 150000km and still running on its original battery.

Changed the battery and the issue still persists.

Car has : JB4 || downpipe + Induction

Current codes include : 2ABC

See if you can get the o-rings for the solenoids. Rather raplce them while you do it. Shouldnt be expensive. However im not sure if bmw sell it seperate.

Hope you come right

Will do oil change, cleanup the tmap sensor & check the integrity of the jb4 connection then feedback. ..

Thanks for shedding some light though.

Solution :

It came down to the starter itself. Part changed and all was well.

Tmap sensor cleaning didn't remove the 2ACB error for long so I replaced it too.
