Sorry to hear.
Did this happen while all the warning lights were still on? ABS,DSC not working?
Yeah its really badKimeran said:That bit of road is extremely bumpy from what I remember, probably unsettled the car bad.
So its not a write off?
Bugger said:Thanks guys. I'm not feeling as despondent as I was last night or this morning. She's going to be gone for a while, so I'll see if I can start a build thread from the ARC, if they'll let me. The upside is the car is going to be brilliant when I get it back, and not driving it for nearly two months will be worth the wait.
Also I am glad there's no write off. There is something about this car that just soothes my brow (well other than last night). As discussed with a1exander on the phone earlier, the car is like a woman sitting at a dinner table getting angrier and angrier until she reaches out and stabs you in the hand with a fork. I'd hate to lose my car. There's just something special about it.
Bugger said:Thanks Terrence and Fuzz. I was hoping it would maybe buff out but I don't think it will  not even with Menzerna and some cutting compound :roflol:
She'll get sorted Terrence, I'll be pretty upset if it isn't, but you're right. At least I've had the car. Assessors will be going out today, so holding thumbs.
Fuzz, if I'd gone forwards I think I would've landed up in the parking lot and not just landed up in the fence. I have to say that the guys at Cedar Isle Auto were very good when I approached them, insisting it was just a fence and making sure I was ok, so big up to them. I've dealt with them before and always been happy with the service I've received from them. Luckily insurance will cover the fence.
So today is D Day guys, cross fingers my baby doesn't get written off.
