E90 LCI Rear Inner Tail Light Strip not working

Good Morning Ladies/Gents,

I have a quick question regarding my e90 LCI rear inner light strip.
Last Friday, I was driving form work and the dead bulb warning came up, after a thorough investigation when I got home I noticed that my rear inner light strip as indicated below was not working (picture downloaded for reference as I did not think of taking a picture at the time).

Now my question is, can that light strip be replace/repaired or is it an entire unit replacement.
If so my OCD would kill me with one light looking marginally different than the rest, what would a complete rear light set cost (after market/oem/2nd hand)

The inner lights on the E90 are common. Had that issue as well. Seen lot's of E90s with no inner lights illuminated as well.

Open the boot and give the board, of the boot, near the light, a light knock. If it comes back on then you have a connectivity/contact issue. If not, then it's probably the bulb itself.

I didn't have warnings and the bulb would still light up after doing the above. So I'm guessing its the bulb in your case

why dont you strip the light and see what globe it is?
If its a normal globe, just replace it, if its LED you might have to go to the agents.

I stripped the light on Saturday and found that all globes are working, and that it is only the one light strip that is dead.

Not up for pulling the entire unit apart and trying to fix a light strip.
Are there any good aftermarket options for the rear lights?

This is a common issue. Has happened to my left and right rear lights.
I had them both replaced under plan fortunately. I enquired about the m perf edition rear lights and was told it was about R4500. This is however for a F20. Just sharing experience on the same issue.

I have a similar issue, but on the outer light, the top light strip is loose and hanging ever so slightly towards the right bottom of the unit.
I recently had to replace the left outer unit as it got damaged by some pillock banging open a Touareg door. I had a look at it and couldn't see an obvious way of opening these units, so I guess another replacement for me...
