I do repair these, send me a PM after you asked BMW for the price of a new one.
Ta,

Ta,
Thanks for your reply. I'm in a panic. I have never jumped the car, but when the o2 sensor was replaced, so was the voltage regulator. I was told the car over charging at 15.2V. Could that be the cause?
I know it's an old post, but frm's crash all the time.Steph745 said:.....like R6.5k from the dealer plus 600 bucks to code....![]()

I was in a jam, front windows were open and I had to go to work the next day and it was raining. I put transparent plastic and went to work, after work I had to drive from pretoria to North Gate with a car that didn't have indicators and plastic on the passenger and drivers windows while it was raining hard.

That's cheap.
Mine was replaced at a dealer twice last year on their account as it blew while the car was there :smilebounce:
The invoice showed R18k for the part alone. :fencelook:

Now all of a sudden I'm getting comms error on the FRM module CC ID 231. No lights, No indicators... Complete light system failure, and I have one angry wife as she needs the car to go work tomorrow. Please, any ideas. I have disconnected the battery to see what happens.
