E90 Exclusive rear diff

Good people

My brother is in desperate need of a rear diff for his Exclusive prefacelift 320i. Can anyone assist him in finding one at a good price?

Your response will be greatly appreciated.

Is the car auto or manual, because i think the diff ratio's are different for each, i could be wrong

Hi all,
Just got a quote from BMW today for the tests they ran on my car. They say the knocking noise from the back is the differential and needs to be replaced. R23k without labour :skit: i have a 2006 e90 323i exclusive. What alternatives can i take here that wont break the bank?

Try MD House in Wynberg bud, they specialise in BMW parts.

They're one of the best BMW spares shops in Jozi.

Just be careful on the diffs as there are 3 sizes

Small casing - 4 Cylinder Petrols models
Medium casing - All 6 cylinder non turbo petrol motors and diesels (the 335i pre lci auto was also a medium diff)
Large Casing - M3 and 335i

***Diffs from the 1 Series (e8x) and 3 series (e9x) are interchangeable***
***If you car has a small diff casing and you try install a medium casing you will need to change the sideshafts and possibly the porpshaft***

Hope this helps
