E90 Door actuators

So another FYI

Front passenger door actuator failed, tried replacing the fuse with a 20 amp fuse, didn't help, main problem is in any case the door actuator that causes the fuses to blow.

Door unlocks by using the handle inside but not with keyfob or dash unlock button.

Again I took it to BMW Midrand and the quote is below.
Found quite a few DIY posts on this issue but decided to let them handle it in case I accidentally break a window or anything haha :smashScreen:

Wow that's quite steep.
I experienced the same issue with my passenger door. A while back Bmw ran a special and sold the locksets in pairs for the E90 specifically as these were prone to failure over time. I scored a new passenger door lockset for R300 off Gumtree from a guy that only needed the drivers side. Installation was tricky but managed to get it all done in 40 mins.
