discussion e90 Bumper repair advice

Hi Guys

My cars bumper got cracked during an unfortunate reversing incident with a manhole cover which was higher than it seemed. Anyway I wanted to some suggestion on where to repair it without breaking the bank in JHB. The end result doesn't need to be perfect like a brand new bumper, but the crack needs to be repaired because its propagating and also underneath on the side it needs to be straightened on bent back upwards/secured. Right now it looks terrible.

A few years back when i still had my E39 a friend was driving on our way to Upington and we hit a guinea fowl. Did some damage to the front spoiler so i took it to a panel shop in Upington. They charged me something like R880 and took off the bumper and repaired it with Q-bond, filler and baking soda. They then resprayed the repairs and it looked like new afterwards. So yes, it is possible to repair your bumper.

I would plastic weld the bumper and do a proper backing at the back. the crack on the left looks like its only paint so that i would sand down and fill and prime

What's the average cost of respraying an entire bumper? I got quoted 3k?
