E90 bonnet wrap

Hi guys. Wishing all the fanatics a prosperous 2016. I'm wanting to wrap my bonnet and front bumper in carbon fibre. Where would the best place in Durban be to take it. I live in Amanzimtoti, so anywhere around there would be good. Needless to say the quality of materials and workmanship must be extremely high. Has any one had any work done, if so any comments.

Hi nick
I got the e90 a few months ago. Bumper has had paint work done and bonnet is peppered with very poor touch ups from stone chips. It spoils the car. Need to fix the look. Why do you say not to do it?

Respray, then VPS to protect the new paint.

Not cheap, but its the proper fix.

No, not if it was applied and cared for correctly.
If it was my car, I would atleast have it professionally resprayed as a bare minimum

Thanks for the advice. Guess it makes sense. I will have to get bumper and bonnet resprayed. Thanks again.

Just do this practical experiment. After you have driven and get home just stop and idle that E90 for 1 minute and then switch it off get out and put your hand on the centre of the bonnet and feel how hot it gets. I dont think your wrap will last very long and then you will have even a bigger mess. Just my 2c

Thanks iceman. It makes a lot of sense. I guess the best thing to do would be to do would be to paint it.
