E90 bmw 320i immobiliser or remote receiver

Where can I find the immobiliser unit or remote receiver for my key on an E90 bmw saden 2009 facelift.

I'm assuming central locking isn't working?

HI there.

Its not working when I use the buttons on the key. When pressing the open button, the door locks won't open or when open it won't close. Any idea

The most likely failure is the actual remote bud. Very seldom it's the receiver in the car.

Thanks man. Today it decided to work again like normal . I agree with you. It could just be the remote

If you dont have comfort access then the remote isnt like replacing a battery it is sorted, you will need to buy a new remote. In that saying the CAS module, correct me if I am wrong our Guru raise:, can only store 10 keys which I believe 3 is used when your car leaves the factory. So just keep that in mind also, future reference, CAS module will need replacement once you get to 10 keys.

Anyway, OP glad you sort of sorted. Hope the remote keeps working, but if it is the remote then you going to have to replace the complete remote and not just the battery. And they expensive
