E90 Bluethooth issue

Hi Guys

I'm hoping that someone can assist me. The Bluetooth function on my E90 has stopped working.

The phone symbol on the car comes on for a second and then disappears and then reappears after 10 seconds and then disappears again.

If a listen to a CD, Radio or Aux, it causes a break on the audio, I confirmed that the break happens when the Tel symbol disappears.

Anyone had this issue and is there any fix for it. I'm assuming recoding is needed.

Try and delete all paired devices, and then try and re pair 1 and see if it works.

Problem is that i cant get into the Bluethooth options at all.

What if you switch of your fone bluetoooth off so there is no attempt at connecting and then give it a shot

my car just did the same thing...BM changed the bluetooth control unit in the boot and recoded it onto the car..will get my invoice mailed to me tomorrow hopefully, and will let you know the cost..mines luckily was on MP

Cool let me know what the cost is. Hope its not something crazy.

Got an extended warranty that will cover the repair.

is a lil expensive..the part alone is 6393.70 from the stealers..and together with the coding comes to 6889.40 :nonono:...tho keep in mind these are MP prices..don't know how they differ to normal prices..GL

the alternative maybe is disconnecting the bluetooth control unit in the boot..it's just under the removable floor panel behind the rear seats..maybe this will stop the interruption on the cd-player?

My tel symbol also just disappeared 1 day and only showed 2 lines and could not get into the tel options, bmw replaced the bluetooth module was also around R7k 1 year ago.

Crap thats pricy.

Will check the web to see if there is a bluethooth reset
