Contact Gert at OBD Worx. He will be able to assist with any ECU faults. He is a forum Advertiser

Gert also did mention something about the drains in the bonnet next to the ecu and brakefluid gets blocked and water start to collect, thus damaging the ecu.

U can run the dictator management on the car, however i wouldn't remove the stock ecu.

I would let the stock ecu control everything else and just get the Dictator to do the fuel and timing portion

There is no local ecu that can replace the oem one. Dicktator does not come close to oem quality and importing an ecu that is close to oem standard will be 25-30k minimum...

Stick it out with oem and ask Gert what you can do to prevent this type of failure

^^^ What these guys said. Take your car to a reputable place to get the drains all cleaned out. This is a known problem on these cars, with known procedures for preventing it from happening again. You shouldn't be paying twice for something like this.
