E90 Aircon

Hi guys

My aircon isn't working properly. Whenever I turn it on, even when I set it to the lowest temperature setting (16 degrees), the front passenger vents and sometimes the rear vents get the best of it. The vents on the driver's side just blow out hot air.

Anybody know a place where I can my aircon sorted out?

Thats the sign of low gas I got mine (E46) Regassed as well as the compressor oil changed for R570 at Radiotec in Venter centre (Opposite Dent Doctor Boksburg)

I dont think its low gas. if the other banks are getting cold, then you probably have a blockage of sorts.

best to take it to Silverton Radiators / Auto Aircon, in eastleigh, Edenvale (look them up). They remanufacture alot of aircon parts and are among the best when it comes to aircons. Most aircon people get their parts from these guys. They have a massive shop, and also run an auto aircon academy where a proper curriculum on vehicle aicon installation, troubleshooting and manufacture is conducted.

Does it blow warm air all the time or only when you use the aircon? So if you turn off the aircon, but leave the fan blowing, does it still blow out hot air passenger side only?

When I turn off the AC, the temperature at all the banks is the same. When the AC is on, only the passenger banks get the cool air. Sometimes the banks in the rear get it too, but the driver's side gets no AC. There is no difference when the AC is on or off.
