E90 advice

I currently drive a pre LCI 330d M-Sport and have been offered an M-Sport LCI 335i with the similar extras as mine at a very attractive price. Problem is it doesn't have xenons and they're a MUST for me. Can they be retro fitted at BMW? I don't mind paying R12k for an OEM set.

As far as I know it's not possible, it uses a different wiring loom, but if the price is right don't let the xenon deter you, it's a great car. All the best bud

Hey guys,

I think you can get them fitted. But you will have to change the wiring or get a adaptor that fits them.

But it is possible. Give the guys at BMW a call. If they cannot help you can always get a wiring expert to redo the wiring.

it is possible.. @ri had a set fitted to his 09 120i cabrio just the other day by BMW..

you can import plug and play aftermarket xenons from the states if i am not mistaken, cant remember the product name at the moment though.

its a full unit that just plugs in and has all the necessary stuff built in kind of thing.

I will never buy a car without xenons if I can help it.

I think this is good thinking especially when it comes to selling the car again. Five years down the line most cars will have xenons standard.
We made the same mistake with our 35 by not fitting navigation. Its something we do not use but in the private sale market its a must for most people. Sucks when you get a good deal and you have to overcome your temptation to say F it and just get the car.

BMW can fit the Xenons if you have the cash, the turbo petrol model shave issues with their High Pressure fuel pumps some cars have been recalled for updates and repairs.
