E90 335i pulling when braking

I am experiencing the E90 335i pulling left when braking. It feels like the steering wheel just pulls to the left and locks.

What could be causing this ? Wheel alignment ? Front brake discs warped ?

I had mine kinda vibrate and pull a bit when the disks needed replacement. Check the discs is flat and doesn't have a lip on it. How much km's on the discs?

Just had the brakes serviced about a month ago, looks like they skimmed the front disks and replaced pads.

The front tyres does look like they need need replacing. But why would worn tyres make the steering feel like they lock ?

One tire with more grip then the other side might make the car pull to that side?

Otherwise suspension...Ive had a broken shock do that on a previous car...wel not broken just bent so it didn't work so lekka

Btw,by lock,what do you mean?

Does the wheel lock,eg tire sliding

Or does it feel as if you cannot correct the pulling via the steering wheel?

When I say lock, I mean cannot correct the pulling via the steering wheel. Almost feels like someone else is steering the car remotely and wants to turn left and you are expecting the steering wheel to stay straight because you are stopping in a straight line.

Not sure if this is tramlining or not

Damn thats bad,ive only had that with my c2 when the shock was bent and not releasing lekka,

In my head it says because its gravity doing its thing.

If I were you I would seriously get that car on a lift and soon,I would recommend to take it for wheel allignment at a good place and while the guys are busy have a chat with them and tell them whats happening,I can promise you theyl check it out for you

Sounds most likely like a faulty/sticking caliper or perhaps very badly worn pushrods/bushes. Alignment would make it pull all the time as would a bent strut. With the condition you describe the dsc should also be activating to counter the pulling if you brake hard enough- if you try a hard braking action in a safe environment without actually activating the ABS and the pedal pulses then it's most likely the caliper seizing as the dsc is recognizing that the left front wheel is slowing down much faster than the others and will try to increase pressure on the opposite side to correct the situation. The colour of the left disc is also an indicator- if it appears blue or highly glazed compared to the right then it's being exposed to higher brake force.

I think by the fact that you had the above work done, and now the problems start, my thinking is to go straight to this area first, maybe the disks and pads didn't "bed-in" properly
Maybe some component (caliper) has come undone etc
