E90 335i LSD

Anybody done this and what is the price for an LSD doing some homework and might go this route, as im told that the E90 335i's dont have an LSD

Following this thread closely, as I am going to have to do the same when I've upgraded to the single turbo.

That being said, I think this would be beneficial even with a mildly tuned N54.

Quaife, Wavetrac and MFactory all have options for the e90/E92.
Swopping with an M3 is a good option, but propshaft needs to be shortened and balanced. So a good engineering contact is a must.
If we can get enough people together, maybe a group buy could help bring costs down. Quaife seems the best bang for buck.
I think the 335i in stock form will benefit from this upgrade.

With the crazy amount of power your car is making, full slicks and 4 wheel drive wouldn't be enough :cartel:

Cause they only come in the M Cars AFAIK.

Okay gents i can get an E46 M3 LSD, question is will it fit onto my 07 E90 335i ?

Next question is how reliable/ strong are these things, been hearing conflicting stories that they good, then they sh1t..blah blah blah.

So not sure and need your guys advice as i am not to sharp on these things

I enquired about the M Performance diff for the F chassis but as far as I could tell it is still an electronic diff. Was about R80k last time I got pricing..
