e90 330i help!

HI Guys

I have a e90 330i and it has a massive misfire when hot

so when the car is cool it will be fine revs like normal, but once hot it has a massive misfire, no engine light

any ideas would be appreciated

start with code held on the dme and go from there...

Which year model is this? I gather it would be the N52B30. Best is to have the codes read, and since it is doing this when the engine is hot, see if you can have the live data read which should indicate what is going on while the engine is misfiring.

I did However replace all the spark plugs as I had misfire error on 2, 3 and 4 cylinder, I have not had the problem since changing the plugs

the plugs had about 70k km on them not sure why they went so soon they should last 100km as I understand

Great news Andre. Well my only guess is that bad fuel could have caused the spark plugs to go prematurely.

If it been bad plugs they would have went much earlier, same story with the ignition system.

But I will keep an eye out on the coils if the spark plugs go again.
