Hey guys

I need some help here please.

A friend of mine is looking at purchasing a 330D with broken injectors.

According to the owner the car threw a low fuel pressure and he replaced the hpfp. Once that was done the Mech suggested that he pressure tests the injectors and dropped them.

That’s literally all the info I have.

Thanks in advance guys

Always a risk when buying a non-runner..

some people do weird stuff ekse..

Example, the motor could be heavy messed up.
and just so you dont start the car, They removed and injector and Damaged it claiming thats the only problem

OR

That is just the problem...

I would say its 50/50 bud

worst case scenario...engine and gearbox screwed up! It your friend willing to deal with that?

Absolutely not. He is a laaitee, wants a fast car I’m trying to get him out of that mindset but it’s not working. So atleast now this thread will help me in my quest because he will understand all the risks involved (which I have explained multiple times).

Seems suspect, no way to verify the seller's story - 330d is nice and all but even a bicycle is faster than a broken 330d.

Sometimes, some people only learn once they hit their head HARD!.

You can only do so much bud.
If he dont want to listen to the advise you giving him, Then let him learn the hard way.

My Youngest brother was the same. but once his lesson was learnt, He changed his ways.

Big ups for looking out for your Peeps bud.
Some people will knw its risky but still leave you to drown.

Walk away or get the seller to fit new injectors and sell a car that can actually be tested on the road.

Thanks bud, I try my best. I told him to forget about this car, so it seems that he has done that lol.

It seems he is going to walk away, I think that is best in this situation.
