235000km, how can that be?
You should try and let them throw in a MSport front bumper for that price :=):

Ok seriously, its a diesel with 235000km, out of motorplan, to get a warranty on a car above 160 000km puts it in a bad group when you need them to pay you out for faulty parts, and parts can be expensive. With my warranty plan, it will remain in the same group it was when i took the plan and the new owner if i sell it will remain on the same warranty plan as well, which will be a huge perk. Find out if the car is currently on a warranty plan and if it can be carried over to you.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad words, but prevention is better than cure.

Also are you sure that is 18' rims on the car? Find out if its RFT's and just double check that the brand of tyres and profiles are correct, i had that prob when i bought my car.

New 3 Series about to be launched! So maybe taking a last minute chance at a higher price - still, low mileage and young, so still 5 years of potential motorplan left.

Manual or Auto? Otherwise looks fantastic!!!

Its auto, im planning on taking it for a test drive if all pans out,

but the overall condition of the car is good, its was R399K , but with my limited negotiation skills i managed R385k

I asked them to pull out the service report and noticed it was taken in for an oil change or service (cost R2371) at 21 000KM , is this normal?

I asked the dealer and he said the services are based on CBS driving style and if you drive better the longer it takes before you need a service ....am i been bull-dusted here?

Yes, all normal, my Ex 330d, first service done at around 15k km mark and second one done at 24k km mark. I bought it with 6k km (demo) and drove like a normal person, then I started to be myself. Even BMW commented to say at the time that they have never seen a 330d wanting to come for a service under 10k km from the previous service.

Depending how you drive, you could easily stretch it to 20k km between services, but I managed between 9 and 12k km. I drove my car from from Lydenburg to Pretoria (320km of mountain roads) in 2,5 hours (incl a 15 minute negotiation session with cops) the car counted off more than 1,500 km to next service on a 320km trip

Awesome car i have a 330d LCi M Sport.... :praise:

The price is about right, there's a bit of a waiting list on the 330d...

The new 3 wont be launched with a 330d ... only the 320d, 328i and 335i... not sure when other motors will reach SA...

Maybe push for R375K loll...

That's a liitle silly! Don't you think it's a typo! Surely you can see from the pictures that it doesn't have that mileage... Another obvious giveaway would have been the price, come on now fellow fanatic, let common sense prevail.

Btw just to comment on the car, it looks really clean, don't be put off, 330d is a machine of note! All the best... p.s even if it has 235000km!!!!!

Car looks very clean but I have to agree with the guys who says price is too high.... wait a while till the new 3 series is out, then who knows.... you could pick up a 2011 model with less mileage for the same price

My 1 cent worth comment

Ask a salesperson what the 'real' trade price is and you'll understand why my max offer would be R325k.

2009 323i M Sport, for example, will trade for between R160k and R180k. Same car would've cost you R420k in 2009 new. Dealer prices are too high so save yourself some money.
