Hey All

Been meaning to do this post but time always got the better of me.

Anyways, my e90 radio face lcd display has been on the brink for a few months now and need to know if theres a easy fix or not, apart from replacing the entire radio. Basically if its cold outside the display is perfect all is visible but as it gets hot the lcd starts fading completly but at different places. At night it looks like its completly off when its actually on, but only on certain places on the screen.

advise :argh:

Have you tried the different display settings?
Basically when you power on radio, hold the M button and scroll thru until you find the display setting. Maybe try a different 1.

Hey guys!

Ive got the same issue with my 320d

Found some repair resources but has anyone here attempted replacing the LCD, or is there somewhere I can take it to in Cape Town?

Mine also does this, only on a hot day and the car has been parked in the sun.

If its in a cool spot, then its perfect.
