E90 330d possible glow plug issues surfacing

As it is starting to get a bit colder in the mornings,my e90 330d takes a little bit longer to start ,too long for my liking.

The codes were read about 2 months back and the car showed a glow plug error.
Is it usually necessary to change all 6 plugs as well as the control unit,or how does one go about?

Does anybody maybe have an idea of what price I would be looking at for this?

Glow plugs don't matter in our climate.

There could be other things at play such as a weak battery, faulty alternator, faulty relay....

The car stood for 3 weeks over December and started without any issues when I got back. I also tested the battery voltage and it was 100%. So the search now begins. The car is going in for a service in about 2500-3000km, so I will get it looked at by the mechanic.

So I should not worry about the glow plugs error?

When the car is cold there is also a slight white smoke until it is warmed up.
