I really didn't think id enjoy driving a diesel this much! Superb car!!!!!!!:joy:

And i don't really get whats all the fuss about the run flat tyres giving a real firm ride. I like the ride. Drove from jhb to durban and it was more comfortable than my focus ST.

What mods you have in mind

technically i have done my first mod on the car already. I have changed ALL the interior bulbs to white LED's. I hate the yellow globes. Will post pics next week.

Tomorrow night she is going on the rollers so that i can get a stock dyno figure. I will post the vid and results.

On Saturday the car is booked in to get a few things wrapped

Then a performance mod(cant say exactly what yet)

and in due time it will receive a carbon fibre boot spoiler, white angel eye globes and anthracite color rims, in that order

What items are you wrapping?
CF boot spoiler, bit pricy, I have that on my E90.
Are you planning on going the Performance style spoiler of the slim M3 style spoiler?
White angle eye globes.....have you thought what they would look like if they were Red:idea:

Im wrapping the bonnet and bumper in 3m clear wrap to protect from stone chips, and the roof and mirrors in gloss black.

The CF boot spoiler isnt thaaaaat bad. At max motorsport its R1400. The mirrors are more expensive:blab:

And yes i want the slim performance type spoiler. In my opinion it looks the best on the e90

I have thought about how they would look like in red, and i have also thought about how the police would like it:roflol: so thats my reason for sticking with white. Durban cops are crazy

And yeah. i like the rims. If i come across a set of original m3 rims or csl rims then il think about changing them. but not anytime soon.

So my car hit the rollers for the first time last night. Stock as can be. Im actually quiet impressed. I expected less.

The first run was in 3rd gear and the second was in 4th gear.

we wernt to sure which gear to run, so thats why we used both. Guy at the dyno said that if we ran 4th gear the first time i would have gotten a slightly better wkw reading as my car was suffering from heat soak.

I did add a few cap fulls of nf diesel boost to the tank

oh yes, and dyno was done at autotrix. video of dyno still uploading so will get posted in approx 1hr time
