E90 325i pre-facelift

Just bought one. What are the common problems on these cars (if any)? It's still under motorplan so I'm not too worried but I'd like to know. I'd like to get the Blackline tail lights fitted soon but where can one buy them for under R3k (OEM)?

@ Prospect - Just check the central-locking mechanism - front doot
Mine was changed and the service advisor said that it was a problem on the pre-facelifts.
Mine is a 2008 325i pre-facelift .
When i close the door now it is a much softer sound as well...

Hi

I'm also just about to buy a pre-facelift 325i (2008 model with 55,000 on the clock). Car in a mint condition. Actually from someone I "sort of" know - so it makes it a bit easier.

However - I'm still not sure about a 325i vs a 320d. It will be my wife's car to replace her current 2001 320i......., however I just love the low down torque of a diesel.......

It is a manual. What kind of fuel consumption can I expect in town?

Tey use oil its a comman problem on E90 not e46
