Just pondering on a fault I saw in my car, 2007 E90 325i, I was due for an oil service not so long ago and before I took the car in I checked the oil level and it was on half so I carried on till the weekend when I sent the car in for a service.
Before I sent it in I check the oil levels and it said INACTIVE, so I thought its due for the service that’s why, BUT after it was serviced it still reflected INACTIVE and the mechanic said he can’t reset it either after the service.
Is this a fault maybe with the sensor, or could it be something else?
