Hi all. Does anybody know of a E90 325i or 330i that has had a decat and tuning done?
I am considering having a decat and full exhaust done but think its need to be tuned to run with the cats removed. Is this worth while doing?
What can i expect the tuning to cost and can it be done in Durban?

Do sw with the hope of improving the drive/feel/response & you won't be disappointed...
Buying it for dyno figures isn't advised.

As for sound, I prefer induction over exhaust and boy does my 330i induct :inlove: :biglol: :tease:

P.S I have Promotec SW & a K&N filter

Hi

xcede/xflow done my brothers 2008 325i. Software and Decat only and made a big difference with throttle response. You could feel extra power at the top of the rpm band.

At the coast this car really came alive with the improved airflow.

he still needs to go back to KAR for a dyno again.

As for sound his car is very close to E46 M3 sound and there is no dronning.

NavZ are you talking about a "flat bed" filter? Where did you get yours?

Knowing NavZ's car, it's not a pad type filter, it's a cylinder/cone type K&N filter. In SA we have the "Euro style" air box thankfully, not like the US type emissions air box that uses a pad type filter and has a restrictive carbon filter in front of the pad type filter. The first mod they do is cut this carbon filter out, then they replace the entire air box with the Euro style air box. :=):
