E90 323i Steptronic - Strange sound from exhaust after some spirited driving

Hi howsit guys

Getting a weird almost hissing or something cooking sound from the exhaust system, towards the rear after some spirited driving

Is the exhaust leaking or is it something to do with the cats cooling down?

Mine makes this ticking noise... I think it's everything that needs to cool down after the drive.

Hissing sound. not too sure about that sorry dude.

yeah def a sound like gasses escaping or like something getting cooked and in a frying pan

have you lost power at all, if so maybe a box got blown out but its unlikely.
probably just got some water on it somewhere and its the water evaporating, i wouldn't worry about it.

no loss of power, everything seems fine, no errors

but its happening consistently when ever i run the car abit hard and switch off, just happened now again this morning

Mabe the breather of the fueltank is partly blocked.
Try opening the filler cap while it is hissing. When the pressure escapes and the sound is gone, cut your pulse or get the KY.

Hey , dunno what car you have , but My Dad's and Mom's 323i e90's both do it after spirited driving . They just tick afterwards . No idea but I think its normal
