E90 323 shock mounts

Hi
I got my bmw 323 for 2 months. I took it to BMW for wheel alignment and they said the front/left shock mount is pushed up and that i need to get a panel beater to fix.
Why is this not covered by motorplan.
These are also damages from previous owner. Should they not have picked up this when they did the 20point quality check before purchase.
Any comments/ assistance please?

Yes it is BMW's problem and they should have picked this up on the quality check before selling the car to you. If you are in Josie BMW Alberante have their own body shop. If BMW gives you hassles demand the the Dealer principles number and contact them.
