E90 320i Power loss, help

My first post and I need your help

I recently bought a 2005 320i E90. The cars was fine but lately (intermittently) the car looses power. E.g. I will be driving in 3rd then by 3000rpm it feels like the car ran out of petrol for a second then its fine again. Also intermittently when idling it fluctuates. What can this be? I would really appreciate your comments

Maybe spark plug or a coil on its way out

Could be a coilpack, or a crank position sensor/camshaft position sensor or MAF. Having the codes read should give you an answer.

Where do i get the codes?

Go to BMW , and hopefully you still under motorplan , 2005 model eish , probably a spark plug
