E90 320i decat and performance pipe advice

Hi guys i would like to decat my 320i petrol e90 pls can you advise me on ehat you think i should!

I got a quote from powerflo for decating and a new ss performance pipe for R3800

What will the decat do for your performance < i reads that trying to get more power out of a 320 is like trying to get malema to vote DA

rather buy some cosmetic stuff other than trying to get performance on 320i. It is not buid to be fast.

i suggest you ask the pro's (see forum sponsor guys) about a chip or some remapping be4 spending K3.8 on hardware . but if you do go with ur plan, let us know what happens ! im stuck with the same dilema (e90 320i) ie : (dont have lots of cash !)

while reading forums of other countries(yes othr countries) guys get decent gains but not as much as if you had 2 more cylinders or a turbo or s/charger. if you at th reef, then even worse, if i was at the cost, the car drives very different there, and it should see a little gains but obviously, you need intake, and full exhaust before even thinking of software

Considering bang vs buck, any performance mods on a 320i is not worth it.
Like what was said above, same work done on a 6cyl or FI motor will yield a gazillion times better results.
Leave it, it is what it is...an urban cruiser of sorts? :dunno:

Yeah just decat shouldn't cost much. I paid R250 on the E46.

Chief, as all the other guys say, its not worth put all that effort on an E90 320i.

I should mine as i could not leave with the performance, spend the money on making her look nicer!:thumbsup:
