E90 320i automatic starter issues

Hi Fanatics

I have a 2006 e90 320i N46, the starter motor makes a clicking sound when starting the motor with Start/Stop button, i have a new Raylite battery and changed the starter motor with a fully functional one. When i bridge a wire from Starter solenoid to positive pole (Jumping + pole in the hood) the starter motor cranks and the motor fires up. I am puzzled, any help please.  :fencelook:

check all you main power cables and grounding, usually if a starter clicks without turning when using ignition, but turns fine when shorting, it isnt getting the amps needed for turning over the engine. Most common cause is earth connection.
