Hi
New to BMW diesel and i would like to ask what is best oil to use with 320d. Also point of glow plugs at what mileage do you need to replace them. I would like to do software. Been adviced away from chipping and rather plug and play. I dont want to create smoke clouds when accelarating. Also where can i go and advice on striaght pipe. I heard a beautiful sounding silver 320d stationwagon in Brackenfell Cape Town one day. It sounded sweet. Any advice or guidance aporeciated. Im based in Brackenfell. Thank you

In the SA climate there is no need for glow plugs, also have not heard of them being replaced.

In terms of oil, OEM recommendations are good, the thing which keeps a diesels and any BMW going really is frequent oil changes.

tuning wise look at RK motion of Xcede - both forum advertisers. Read on the forum about past experiences etc. You cant go wrong with either.

Personally I will go RK Motion.
I had a previous tuner(big name) that tuned my car as well but RK Motion is miles ahead!
Plus the guys is always there to help and assist in which ever way they can!

As for oil. I use Liqui Moly. They expensive but I like that it's green. So I check how long it takes the colour to turn black. Don't know why but I like it.

Hope this helps a bit.
