Hi guys. Looking at purchasing an 2011 E90 320D.dekra report states that the abs and traction control lights is always illuminated. Can this affect the drive of the vehicle?
Car has 175000km.
Newbie to diesels and Bmw's.
Appreciate the guidance.

Hallo Ahmed

I had the same issue on my E90. The rear wheel speed sensors tend to go dirty. wipe them clean and see if it goes away. If not then it might need replacement.

Nobody sells a car with a fault, especially if the fault is a quick fix. So I would double check that's it is really something small.
The abs and tc lights won't affect the drivability of the car, but since we are having lots of rain and the roads are wet, I'd prefer having abs to be fully functional.

From the sounds of it, seems it's a WBC purchase you are looking at. Maybe post the link. Somebody might know the car or we might be able to help you.

Most likely a wheel speed sensor. Could be on any of the 4 wheels.

If the lights are on that means ABS and traction control is not functional so yes it does affect the drivability. Best option would be to take a mechanic with a diagnostic tool with you to plug in and confirm that it is a sensor and not something else that could be more expensive.
