My 2006 320d A/T has just came of motor plan earlier this year, which could not be extended further due to the maximum 7 year period being over.

Mileage is currently sitting on 101000kms

While on plan, the battery and alternator were changed, full software update with the latest internal modules were done before the car had a down pipe and remap done

The power steering hydraulic pipes were replaced at my expense, as there was excess breathing on the pipes which just didn't sit well with me, BMW said that there was nothing to worry about, but I paid to have the pipes replaced R7000, which was done at 85000kms

OBC Indicates that the next oil service is due in 14000kms, last oil service was done last year July at 93000kms, being out of plan I'm planning to change the brake fluid, oil and oil filter next week, the car is currently at the panel beater to touch up a few marks

I'm planning on doing the oil service every 10000kms ?

Changing the air and fuel filter every 20000kms ? Lots of people say the fuel filter should last 50000kms ?

Coolant and power steering fluid was changed at 85000kms again at my expense, I tend to get OCD when it comes to my cars :fencelook:

Is there anything else that I'm overlooking ? The brakes and tyres are still in good condition

Other 320d owners can you advise if anything else should be done ?

you already planned it quite well... the 10000 km spaces between oil changes are the main thing....:=):

You've done a thorough job so far

OCD is not the word :tease:

Can only imagine how much you must have spent on the E39 :fencelook:

It will explain. I called bmw now. R500 for a replacement. I'm going to change just to be safe.

Also how's ur brake disc. I called around they R1000 each.

Brake pads. Brake disc. Oil filter. Diesel filter. Oil. Air filter. Total R5000.

I'm going to be flat broke for the next 6 months.

Curios to know why? And, why not Diesel Cleaner instead of boost?

Singh,

You have everything covered. Just decrease the service interval from the usual 15 000km to 10 000km and the car will be healthy. Also, you will know your car, so once you find anything weird or out of the ordinary, get it checked and repaired immediately.

Check the flux capacitor. :biglol:

Since it's out of plan now why not install some flood lights.
