E90 320d LCI oil level check??

Hi Guys

I have owned two 1-series and my brother an E90 Petrol, on all of these models , the oil level could be checked on the OBC as they didn’t have dipsticks.
On my recent purchase, a 2011 E90 320d, I have noticed it does have a dipstick but doesn’t have the oil level checker on the OBC?
Is this correct? As there isnt an option to check on the OBC at all?

My e90 330d has both options, not sure if this is correct but the engine needs to be running to check :coolShake:

all diesel models came with dipstick. I had both options on my 330d not sure about 320d.

Mine had both..engine must be running.

Same with my ex 320d.
I however chose to use the dipstick, have more faith in it. Old fashioned habits.
