E90 320d battery replacement

Hi Guys

anybody replaced their battery on a Pre Lci 320d? If so what size battery did you replace it with and did you get the battery registration done?

80 or 90 amp, no registration required as these cars don't have an IBS.

Original battery has sticker saying : 12v 90ah 720a

So 90amp

Thx, where can I get one except the stealers? and what size do I ask for?

The willard website says I should use a 658, but it's 60 or 75 amp. Would this cause any issues?

Battery Centre, don't go with a smaller amp battery.

Ask for a 90amp, I'm not sure what 6XX size that correlates to.

You can get the original BMW branded 90AH battery from Battery Centre for around R1500.
At least that is where I got mine from in Bloemfontein.
Actually the BMW agents referred me to them!
