E90 2009 320d - Cut out

I have now experienced for the 5th time during the past 6 months that when my car has been parked, espesially in the sun, as soon as I start my car, switch from Park to Reverse, and then reverse from the parking, the car cuts-out during the reverse motion. It completely dies. But once it's put back into Park, its starts normal and drives off with no issues. I have discussed this with my dealership, and since they cannot replicate the problem, don't have an answer. Has this ever happened to anyone else? Please help!

Sorry buddy, I haven't come across that, and my car is in the sun 2 days a week.

Try this: Put your car in Reverse and try starting it - it should not start.

If it does swing then perhaps you can demonstrate this to the dealer as a starting point that there is something wrong. Other than that, I don't know - sounds very weird.
