Hi Guys
so I posted some months back about an annoying rattle/knocking noise I had been having on my newly purchased 120i Msport.
so after much investigation and irritation it was concluded the noise to be coming from worn bushes on my control arms
I replaced all 4, upper and lower, right and left.
and was beyond pleased to know that the noise had dissapeard and the feel front the streering was wayyyyy better.
anyway the bastardo noise returned on Friday, I thought I was imagining until it got worst yesterday.
I took it back to the repair shop yesterday.
they stripped, played and tightend every possible component they believed could be causing the sound, but with no Luck.
they even tested it by removing the stabilisers thinking it would be that , but cannot detect the noise.
the new control arms seem 100%
its like a plastic thudding noise that occurs when the left wheel goes over a bump or uneven road surface.
on normal flat roads there isn't any sound.
anyone here experienced anything similar?
or might have an idea what it could be?
