Hi all,

I am planning on taking my 125i (3-litre) E87 and changing the DISA to a 3-Stage DISA from an X5 3Litre/330i E90 BMW. Apparently the changes plus a 3.0si tune will allow 195KW, However i dont wish to stop just there..:nonono: I know of somebody selling a supercharger from an E46 M3 he has openly told me that the compressor is blown, I then phoned in for a quote on the repairs, and turbofix has quoted 1k for the repairs. My question is... How do i bypass the valvetronic? or is there another way around this? I dont wish to go the ARMA route, i think its a waste as well as the complaints ive heard. I dont want a 135i either i'd like to project this car. Thanks any help will be appreciated.

The N52 blocks are (apparently) not strong enough for boosted applications. That's why nobody has done this yet.

I know Armaspeed in the Far East have kits available, although for that price you may as well get a 135i.

There is also not much space in the engine bay. You would need to custom make a lot of parts, and also possibly move the throttle body.

I fully agree, I know you dont want a 135i, but at what cost money wise and realiability will such a conversion cost?

And you can go full FBO on a 135 and run with Ferraris...just saying.

LOL Thanks all for the replies, definitly a better call going for the 135's, I just dont know why i dont feel at ease driving those cars, no disrespect to the creators. However, My other option was to get a 330d E90 facelift.. Strap on a Wagner Tuning Intercooler and an MD560 Garrett Hybrid, with a good enough tune 333HP with DPF, 350HP without DPF @680NM's (http://www.performancebmwmag.com/newsitem.asp?newsID=151) :bravo::rollsmile: Not too concerned about the top end, Wont wanna drive above 220km/h just torque based take off!

Another way to go would be:

Buy an every day econobox, get your hands on an e46 m3 and supercharge that bad boy.

Thanks bro! haha thats a beauty you've got there!!! Loving the colour:praise:. Definitly I will also post up pictures on the progress! You see im banking on the fact that te 330d will be an effective choice, because of the power on demand, the solid 6cylinder engine and fuel efficiency.. Most of us would say our cars are heavy on fuel...but :bangdesk: Its actually the fuel(price) thats heavy on the car :biglol:

Lol INSANE performance notionza, but the compressor will be connected to my bank account , I wouldnt want something too hectic, i think it should be balanced because then it doesnt just become a muscle-bound petrol boozer but rather something that can cause a spectacle for its all round performance and efficiency. Unless we talking comp.
