Just have a slight concern regarding my car; 2010 E87 120D with 176k km on the clock.
I have started hearing a rumbling noise from maybe the top of the exhaust or engine, when decelerating in gear (removing foot off the accelerator) this only happens in lower gears and reminds me of the noise a truck would make (breather braking). This rumbling noise also happen when changing gears at low speed and between gear 1 to 2 and 2 to 3 only.
Please may you advise what it could be and what I would need to do if you know.
