Thanks for all the kind words guys :ty:

Sean Those are MikeR's wheels that I test fitted on the car. I actually think they don't look too bad. Just a pity about the size and offset on the rear. The Semi's were the only spare set of tyres I had to test fit them on so...

Also If I keep them then they will be my dedicated track wheels :) Will be my first ever track day with one of my cars. Quite excited to be honest.

I'll take pics of them on the car (as and when) as I haven't yet decided if those tyres fit securely enough on them...

Awesome Andy. How did you lift the engine for the engine mounts to be swopped en did the Remus exhaust make a nice improvement in sound?

@Chris I drove the car onto my homemade ramps and then jacked the motor up from the sump. There is a round plate which I figured is convenient for it. I supported most of the weight this way but then used a separate telescopic jack on the engine mount support (the thing that connects from the block the rubber mount).

That way I lifted one side at a time and swapped them out individually.

@Sirhan you'll feel at the back of your steering wheel there are torx screws holding the plastic covers onto the steering wheel.

You can remove all of them without having to remove the airbag but I was too paranoid about breaking clips so I ended up removing the airbag as well.

Disconnect the battery and then use 2 fairly thin flat screwdrivers. You'll see holes on the back of the steering airbag roughly 9'o clock and 3'o clock positions. You'll have to press unto the springclip which releases the entire airbag unit.

Google it for plenty of pics and walkthroughs. There are also videos on it. Once you've done a couple it becomes easy :)

Oh Right, I sanded the old rubbery yucky stuff down, followed by thinners to remove the particles and some of the paint. Then I used regular spray in a can matt black and satin black bought from Chamberlains (or Builders Warehouse)

Several layers and voila!

So Since Motorplan won't be bugging me anymore I removed my Mplan friendly decat.

Fitted this instead.

That was a mock up fit before completing the install. We used my OEM exhaust flanges and sensor mounts.

This is how pretty the cats actually look

Oh and making sure the O2 sensors go back the right way around.

Yes Fluffy it's Sanjeev's place. Thank you all for the kind comments :) I always babysit my car when It's not home. I trust no one, with good reason.

Sirhan it seems I did not take a pic of the complete install :( Only because my phone battery died.

When I'm under the car next I'll take some pics.

The car sounds a lot deeper. I have a video that Neeshlin took for me but haven't uploaded it yet. Will do so in due course...

Andy you are an absolute LEGEND.
:praise:

Thanks for the great thread, after I fix my bumper bracket (Will also post some pics) and getting the paint in a bit better state I want to do the same on the steering wheel trim and the CDV delete, and now I know how...
