e82 tire pressure won't reset

Had a flat on my rear tire so I took it to get repaired. The issue is that everytime I try resetting the warning light through the BC nothing happens. I don't get that little checkbox to say it was reset successfully. Instead the warning disappears for a second or two then reappears. Doesn't matter if I drive or not after trying to reset, the warning keeps coming up.

Anyone ran into this issue before? As far as I'm aware my car doesn't have a TPMS sensor but instead calculates tire pressure based off the tires speed. The warning doesn't make sense since I won't move after trying to reset and the warning would pop back up so I'm quite confused.

Anyone know how I can fix this?

press it until the tp shows. then press for a few seconds it wil tick the box.
This process is when you start the car.

I don't know what to say. I've been trying for days now even watching videos but nothing worked. I can't remember if I ever tapped and held it but it reset today successfully. Thanks @Mike-R !
