Comparison between stock vs stage 2 upgrades on 135i N55 DCT.

Stock run was 200kw (232kw spike) 411nm.

Bolt on upgrades: Decat downpipe, Stepped intercooler, Aluminium charge pipe.
Software flash with MHD stage 2+ 91 oct fuel.

Dyno run after bolt-ons: 245kw 609nm :)

Stock run was pretty strong, although seems to be down on power after the mods.

Speak to @FiRi@Rennzport I am sure he can assist

*correction, according to the graph, the dyno spiked to 232wkw on the stock run, stock figures may have been lower, but I am pretty sure those mods should net around 260wkw at a minimum? I stand to be corrected.

Those spikes at the end of the graph are quite misleading.

Stock run power was just over 200kw and then spiked to 232kw at 6500rpm. Stock turbo N55 peak power will never be that late in the rev range and it also shouldn't spike the way it does.

Maybe do a run on another dyno to get an accurate "after" figure.

I also have a 135i N54 Manual. Stock with only COBB stage 1 flash.
The N54 makes 255kw, but the twin turbos flow much better in the top end.

I am a bit confused as to why the runs spike at the end like that? Surely, this is the first time I see this happening...what causes that spike?

I wouls say the stock figures of 200kw/411nm is your base and the 245/600nm odd is after mods...

Still seems a bit low for those mods but I could be wrong, I have the PWG M135i...think the gearbox makes a difference in these cars but the same engines make 215wkw and above in stock form.

Interesting, would love to follow and see what the outcome is..

The spike might be when I lift off the DCT gearbox shifts to the next gear.
The manual does not have the problem on the dyno.

Rather look at the power gain of 45kw and torque gain of 198nm, instead of the ultimate dyno power number. Different dyno's give different readings.
I will run the car on another dyno to see if there is a difference.

Sure thing bud, I think the power increase of 45/198 is brillant. I have no idea how it feels but judging from what it got...i am sure it is a bag to handle now but with a whole lot of additional fun!

Subcribed for sure!
